The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugee sand internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, and emergency food security, legal assistance, and water, sanitation and hygiene sectors. This recruitment is positioned within the Building Resilient Communities in Somalia (BRCiS), which is a NGO Consortium of national and international organizations whose objective is to support and guide vulnerable communities in Somalia in building their resilience capacities, in their own ways. The Consortium was created in 2013and is implementing projects funded by three different donors, in more than ten regions of Somalia. The Consortium consists of the Norwegian Refugee Council(NRC) (lead agency), Concern Worldwide (CWW), Save the Children (SCI),International Rescue Committee (IRC), Action Against Hunger (ACF) and CESVI implements the Building Resilient Communities in Somalia (BRCiS) programme.Consortium members have long-standing field presence and operational experience in different parts of Somalia, implementing large multi-sectoral programmes (eg: Food Security, WASH, Community Development, Protection, etc.), both directly as well as through working with local implementing partners.
Under the direct supervision of BRCiS M&E officer, the selected enumerators will take full responsibility for handling all the enumeration-related activities, including contacting BRCiSb beneficiaries over the phone, conduct interviews with them based on pre-agreed survey protocols, amongst others.
